I was not expecting to like this book as much as I did. I would like to say that it talks about drug use a lot but the story is amazing. The whole 70s vibe, the outfits, the music, the dialogue and the original and special kind of story telling that Taylor Jenkins Reid uses are just amazing and make this a great reading experience. I fell in love with all the characters, laughed, cried, was shocked sometimes and just admired the writing and how realistic it all was. I loved feeling like I was there on stage, on tour and in hotels with the band members while also seeing their lives at home and I loved that the song lyrics are also in the book. Huge recommendation!

This was an entertaining, fast paced read. The lyrics are beautiful and should be made into actual songs. Especially loved the realistic portrayal of female relationships - sadly, rare but oh-so-satisfying.

This was probably one of my favourite books of the year, I read it in practically one sitting, ignoring all responsibilities and deadlines, and I have absolutely no regrets.
